Unibet Open releases full schedule for Malta 2022

Unibet Open has now released the full schedule for the forthcoming event in Malta.

The festival is taking place at the luxury Intercontinental Hotel in St Julian’s from September 28, with the Main Event starting on September 29. This will be the tour’s fifth visit to the Mediterranean island and follows the record-breaking event held there in 2019.

As well as the flagship €1,000 + €100 Main Event, there are 16 other tournaments taking place during the five-day festival. Other highlights include the #QueenRules Ladies Event and the first ever Unibet Chip Race Mystery Bounty event. Also on the schedule are the €330 Unibet Opener – which kicks off the festival at 2pm on the first day, several NLH Progressive Superknockouts, a 36-cap €110 Flipout, a €220 PLO tourney and several super-satellites.

The final day will be action-packed with the Main Event playing down to a champion alongside Day 2 of the Mystery Bounty, a €120 Mini Main Event and the final NLH Progressive Superknockout. The Mini ME is a single re-entry tournament which will mirror the Main Event with all players receiving a generous 30,000 starting stack.

The Main Event features a €1,000 + €100 buy-in and there will be three start flights in total – Day 1a, Day 1b and a Day 1c turbo with 20-minute levels. All players receive a 30,000 starting stack and have a single re-entry option into Day 1c.

Unibet Ambassador Dara O’Kearney said: “Malta is always a great place to play poker and I’m especially looking forward to the Chip Race Mystery bounty. Mystery bounties are taking the live poker world by storm at the moment so that will bring extra excitement to the Unibet Open festival in Malta.”
